CAVEMAN (MECHANIC) A. white smoke in exhaust is caused by water or antifreeze entering combustion chamber in engine, usually from cracked head gasket or cylinder head. you maybe able to change gaskets or replace cylinder heads. sometimes costly.

CAVEMAN (MECHANIC) A. on each door of the winstar there is a door jam switch which works with the alarm system. make shore you have closed all doors and hatch properly. if one is open it can trigger the lights. also check your dimmer switch to see its position it can also trigger interior lights.

ON MOST CARS YOU LOOKED IN THE RIGHT PLACES BUT SUZUKI PLACES THERE FUEL FILTERS ABOVE THE FUEL TANK YOU MUST FIRST LOWER THE FUEL TANK TO REPLACE IT.CAR OR TRUCK SHOULD BE RAISED AND ON JACK STANDS IF YOU DON'T HAVE AN AUTO LIFT.BETTER LEFT TO AN EXPERIENCE MECHANIC FOR SAFETY.

I took the van to a service shop down the street from my house and had it checked out . the mechanic said the same thing (head gaskets) blown out from overheating and loss of antifreeze it cost me$1109.00 to fix it. but its running great now , and no smoke LOL thanks again Mary
